He attended the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) where he majored in glass blowing and animation. He currently works full time as the head of molding and casting at the sculpture manufacturer Studio Y Creations. He continues to freelance on the side, creating art for everything from freak shows to hotrod enthusiasts.

Baron was head animator of two stop motion animated shorts, which made the rounds winning awards in film festivals. He has helped in the production of 3 music videos and 1 featured length film (The Dead Mile), providing special effects and prosthetics.

He has promoted his art on TV, done several radio interviews, and has been featured in various local magazines and papers, along with a mention in Juxtapoz Art and Culture Magazine.

Baron specializes in the lowbrow art style, a visual art movement that became popular in the punk and hot-rod culture during the 1970s. Classic cars, bulging eyeballs and monsters are a staple of the Lowbrow art world. It is art with a sense of humour. The Baron brings humour to every piece he creates. Ed Roth, Coop, Rob Zombie, Dirty Donny, and Tom Savini are some of his favourite inspirations.
